Experience

Since graduating from the Masters of Arts of Teaching and Learning program at McGill in 2017, I have gained three years of valueable teaching experience in the public school system as a middle-school, generalist teacher. I have also received certificates of completion in multiple guided and benchmarked reading systems.

Skills

Over the years I have developed a talent for connecting with students and inspiring them to take their daily literacy blocks seriously. When students understand what’s in it for them, and can genuinely perceive their transformation, they become more engaged and accountable in their own learning. That’s why, throughout my lessons, I always make sure to emphasize the “why.”
